It's
tempting to introduce "our successes" with "Oh,
where do we begin..."
But we're smart enough to recognize the fine line between confidence
and arrogance. It's a line we encourage all of our clients to
monitor as we work with them to reach their goals.
Though The Reeds may be unfamiliar to most people
in Dallas, they are, as one newspaper proclaimed, the behind-the-scenes
architects of the most important electoral triumphs in Dallas
history.
The Reeds have "helped elect three mayors, served as the
chief fund-raiser for a fourth and successfully pushed public
financing for the American Airlines Center and the original Trinity
River project before voters in the '90s," the Dallas
Observer wrote.
They have also "helped pass billion-dollar-plus bond packages
for the city and the school district."
 In
2007, in addition to helping elect a relatively unknown Tom Leppert
as Dallas mayor, The Reeds held back a citywide, grassroots effort
to undermine the already-approved Trinity River Project and were
also tapped to be the chief Texas fundraiser for GOP presidential
candidate Rudy Giuliani.
It was a good year. The future is even more promising.
